Which should you pick?
Standard or Ultimate? Standard, for almost everyone. The US prices are $79.99 and $99.99, both editions include the base game, and both get the Vintage Vice City Pack on orders placed before November 20, 2026, so the choice is whether Ultimate’s extra in-game content is worth $20 to you. PS5 or Xbox Series X? Buy for your friends, not the spec sheet. The Series X GPU is stronger on paper, 12 TFLOPs against 10.28, but Rockstar has not published resolution or frame-rate modes for any console. PS5 vs Xbox, compared on hardware, storage and price.

What is GTA 6 about?
GTA 6 follows Lucia and Jason, a criminal couple, across the state of Leonida and a modern Vice City. In Rockstar’s synopsis an easy score goes wrong and drops them into a criminal conspiracy stretching across Leonida, and they have to rely on each other more than ever.
How much will GTA 6 cost?
Rockstar confirmed pricing on June 24, 2026, a day before pre-orders opened: $79.99 Standard and $99.99 Ultimate in the US. Those are the two currently announced editions. Many other markets are confirmed too, including the UK, most of the eurozone, India, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
What is GTA 6 rated?
The ESRB rates GTA 6 Mature 17+ in the US. Germany’s USK rates it 18, Japan’s CERO rates it Z, the Korean PlayStation Store shows 19+, and the Xbox Store listing carries Australia’s R18. Australia’s Classification database holds an R 18+ only for the August 27 gameplay demonstration.
Is GTA 6 single-player or online at launch?
Single-player. The PlayStation and Xbox store listings show GTA 6 as a one-player game at the November 19 launch, and Rockstar has not announced an online mode or a PC version.
