GTA 6 characters

GTA 6 is built around two playable protagonists, Lucia and Jason. Lucia is the first female co-lead in the modern 3D and HD-era Grand Theft Auto series. The original 1997 GTA included playable women, so the broader "first female protagonist" claim is inaccurate.

Are there gangs and factions in GTA 6?

Yes. Rockstar names at least two gangs, a local biker gang in Ambrosia and the PTT Youngin$ of Southside Vice City, and its bios name several other crews and businesses. Rockstar has not detailed a turf-war system.

  • Brian Heder’s smuggling operation (the Leonida Keys). A classic drug-running operation out of a Keys boat yard, run by Brian with his third wife, Lori. Rockstar’s bios have Jason living rent-free at one of Brian’s properties in return for help with local shakedowns, and Cal Hampton, Jason’s friend and a fellow associate of Brian’s, snooping on Coast Guard comms from home.
  • Raul Bautista’s crew. Rockstar calls Raul a seasoned bank robber, always hunting for talent willing to take high-risk scores. His recklessness raises the stakes with every score, and Rockstar says that sooner or later his crew will have to double down or pull their chips from the table.
  • PTT Youngin$ (Southside Vice City). Rockstar calls them "one of Southside Vice City’s loudest and most socially active gangs". The Ultimate Edition lists a PTT Youngin$ Illegal Goods Store and compound.
  • Ambrosia’s biker gang. Rockstar’s Ambrosia copy says "The Allied Crystal sugar refinery provides the jobs, while the local biker gang provides almost everything else."
  • Only Raw Records (Vice City). The record label behind the partnership between Boobie Ike and Dre’Quan Priest. It signed the rap duo Real Dimez, Bae-Luxe and Roxy.
  • Boobie Ike’s ventures (Vice City). Rockstar describes Boobie Ike as a Vice City legend who turned a start in the streets into a string of legitimate businesses, including real estate, a strip club and a recording studio.
  • Leonida law enforcement. An Extended Look put the police on screen: a six-star wanted level, and officers who track your clothes, your face and your car.

What do Lucia and Jason wear in GTA 6?

The official trailers show Lucia in a gold sequin dress with strappy heels and a gold boxing-glove necklace, in crop tops, denim shorts and sneakers, and in an orange prison jumpsuit. Jason is in worn jeans and boots.

Can you customize outfits in GTA 6?

Partly. The Vintage Vice City Pack, included with every purchase before November 20, 2026, adds “decadent outfits and hairstyles for both Jason and Lucia”, and the Ultimate Edition adds Stock 305 Clothing Store, Sara’s Unisex Salon and Electric Fang Tattoo Parlor, with over 50 signature tattoos designed by the artist collective FAILE. An Extended Look also shows changing masks, hats and clothes to shake the police. Rockstar has not detailed how deep the full customization system goes. More on character customization.
