Cookie Policy

We keep browser storage to a minimum: local preferences, cookieless first-party measurement, and optional analytics and advertising cookies from Google. Last updated July 15, 2026.

What we use

Strictly necessary and preference storage. We store your light or dark theme choice and your cookie-consent decision in browser storage. These values are not used for cross-site tracking.
Cookieless audience measurement. Our self-hosted Umami counter measures pages, referrers, devices and aggregate geography without setting an analytics cookie. Search parameters are excluded and browser Do Not Track is respected.
Optional analytics. If configured, the Google Analytics tag can load with storage denied to send limited Consent Mode signals; analytics storage is granted only after acceptance. Microsoft Clarity loads only after you accept.
Advertising (Google AdSense). When ads are enabled, Google and its partners may set cookies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites.

How to control cookies

Opt out of personalized Google ads at Google Ads Settings.
Opt out of many third-party ad vendors at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu (EU).
Block or delete cookies any time in your browser settings. The site still works, but some features may reset.
