Affiliate Disclosure
Some store links on this site are labeled paid links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes the price you pay or which product we recommend. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Where store links appear
Store links appear on the worldwide price index, the pre-order guide, the editions guide, the country price pages, the console and gear guide with its picker and setup builder, the storage advice, the chair guide and the retailers page.
A link labeled paid may earn us a commission after a purchase. A link labeled retailer link does not. Each label sits inside the link itself, and a short note above the first store link on every page points here. When you click an Amazon link, your device’s time zone is used to open the Amazon store for your region where we can tell which one it is; the time zone is not sent to us or stored.
What a click records
The redirect records the product or store, the store’s network, a coarse country and the page you came from. It does not store your IP address, browser details or anything that identifies you.
What this means for you
- You never pay more. Any commission comes from the retailer, not from you.
- We pick products on the evidence in each guide, and no brand pays for a placement.
- Store links open the store in a new tab, and each one says which kind of link it is.
Why we disclose
The US Federal Trade Commission requires clear disclosure of affiliate relationships, and readers deserve to know how a site makes money. For our wider standards, see the ethics policy and editorial standards.
