GTA 6 accessibility
Rockstar has not detailed GTA 6 accessibility options yet. Based on Red Dead Redemption 2, which had strong accessibility, and modern PlayStation and Xbox standards, here is what to expect, plus the system-level settings you can turn on today. What GTA 6 is likely to include
- Subtitles and closed captions, with size and background options.
- Colorblind modes or color filters.
- Controller remapping and control presets.
- Aim assist and lock-on options.
- Toggles for motion blur, camera shake and depth of field.
- Separate audio sliders, audio cues, and mono audio.
- Difficulty and combat assistance options.
Set up accessibility now (works in any game)
On PlayStation 5
- Text size, bold text, zoom and high-contrast in Settings, Accessibility.
- Color correction and color inversion for low vision or color blindness.
- Mono audio and left-right audio balance.
- Custom button assignments to remap any controller button.
- Chat transcription (speech to text and text to speech).
On Xbox
- The Ease of Access menu: narrator, magnifier and high contrast.
- Color filters for color blindness.
- Mono audio and audio balance.
- Button mapping in Accessories, plus the Xbox Adaptive Controller.
- Chat-to-speech and speech-to-chat for voice chat.
Players who need them can also use the PS5 Access Controller and the Xbox Adaptive Controller, both designed for limited mobility.
