GTA 6 Trailer 1

Start with what can be checked directly. Rockstar’s official upload is titled Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 1 and is dated December 4, 2023. It runs for about 90 seconds. The video opens with Lucia in a correctional setting, moves through short scenes across Leonida, and closes with Lucia and Jason entering a store together. Rockstar’s current character pages identify them as Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval. The trailer itself does not present a full biography for either character.

The world reveal is broader than Vice City alone. The video shows a dense coastal city, beaches, wetlands, highways, boats, nightlife and short news or social video style clips. Rockstar’s current world pages now name six regions: Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga. A viewer can match the broad range of environments to that official state level description, but the trailer does not label every shot by region. We therefore do not assign a precise location to a frame unless Rockstar does.

Much of the trailer is framed through phones, television news and vertical social clips. That establishes a presentation style and a contemporary setting. It does not confirm a player controlled social media system, a list of usable apps or a particular mission mechanic. The safe conclusion is narrower: Rockstar chose online spectacle, public behavior and local news as part of the reveal’s visual language.

Lucia is the only lead named in spoken dialogue inside the trailer. Jason appears beside her in the final sequence and answers her request for trust. Rockstar’s later official site provides the names and relationship context that the reveal leaves open. Read together, the sources establish two central protagonists who depend on each other after a score goes wrong. They do not establish how free roaming character switching works, whether every mission uses both leads or how the ending is structured.

The final card originally showed a 2025 release window. That card is an accurate record of what Rockstar was targeting in December 2023, not the current schedule. Rockstar later moved the game and now lists November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S. Any breakdown that repeats 2025 without that correction is stale.

The trailer also cannot settle technical questions. It contains no official frame rate target, resolution mode, install size, Xbox Series S performance detail or PC specification. A polished edited trailer is not a benchmark. Rockstar has since said the game plays best on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation lists PS5 Pro Enhanced support, but neither statement turns this reveal video into a measured performance test.

Use Trailer 1 as the starting record: it establishes tone, the central pair and a modern Leonida. Use Trailer 2 and Rockstar’s current site for later character and world detail. Claims about enterable buildings, map scale, exact activities, online play or a Trailer 3 date remain outside what this video proves.
