GTA 6 cover art: every detail in the official reveal
Confirmed Rockstar revealed the official GTA 6 cover art on June 18, 2026. It puts Lucia and Jason at the center of the grid layout the series is known for, surrounded by the vehicles, wildlife and Vice City characters of the state of Leonida.
Rockstar unveiled the official Grand Theft Auto 6 cover on June 18, 2026, in the same update that set the June 25, 2026 pre-order date. The art keeps the look the franchise is known for: a grid of small scenes with the two leads in the middle.
Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval stand front and center as the series’ first dual-protagonist couple, with Lucia as its first female co-lead in the modern 3D and HD era. Jason holds a pistol pointed ahead, while Lucia carries a firearm and a briefcase, a nod to the money-and-trouble setup of their story.
Around them the panels sketch out Leonida: a stunt rider launching a motorcycle into the air, a police cruiser mid chase, a helicopter with a mounted minigun overhead, a sports car, and a speedboat cutting across the water. An alligator sits near the bottom edge as a stamp of the Leonida wetlands and wildlife.

The mosaic style is a deliberate callback to past Grand Theft Auto box art, including the 2002 Vice City cover. Rockstar has not published a panel-by-panel meaning, so any deeper symbolism is fan reading rather than an official statement. The cover changes nothing about the plan: GTA 6 still launches on November 19, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X and S, and pre-orders opened June 25.
