GTA 6 Trailer 3
The next official GTA 6 video is dated. Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look premieres Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 3 p.m. ET on Netflix, then posts on the Rockstar Games YouTube channel and the official GTA VI site at 9 p.m. ET the same day. Rockstar calls it an Extended Look rather than Trailer 3 and has not said what it shows. We will post a full breakdown here the moment it is live.
What is confirmed, what is not
- Confirmed: the premiere plan. Netflix at 3 p.m. ET on Thursday, August 27, then the Rockstar Games YouTube channel and the GTA VI site at 9 p.m. ET. Netflix subscribers simply see it six hours early; the video posts free the same evening.
- Not confirmed: the contents. Rockstar has not said how long the video runs, whether it is labeled Trailer 3, or whether it is the extended gameplay reveal most people expect. Any shot list or runtime you see before the premiere is guesswork.

The two real trailers
These are the official GTA 6 trailers that have actually been released. Both are real and you can watch full breakdowns of each.
- Trailer 1 (December 4, 2023): the reveal. It introduced Vice City and the state of Leonida, and the dual leads Lucia and Jason. It broke YouTube records for a non-music video on day one.
- Trailer 2 (May 6, 2025): it went deeper on the Lucia and Jason story, showed more of the world and cast, and accompanied the 2026 release window.
