Five big things Rockstar still has not confirmed about GTA 6
GTA 6 is one of the most-anticipated launches in entertainment history, and yet a surprising number of basic details are still officially unconfirmed with the November 19, 2026 release closing in. Here are the five biggest open questions, and where we are tracking the answers.
1. The exact price. The standard edition is widely expected to be $69.99, in line with other current-generation releases, but Rockstar has not confirmed it. Official pricing should land with pre-orders on June 25. Follow it live on our price tracker.
2. Whether it is coming to PC. GTA 6 launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X and S only. A PC version is widely expected later, based on how GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 rolled out, but nothing is confirmed. Here is the full picture on GTA 6 on PC.
3. The online mode. A successor to GTA Online is treated as near-certain, but Rockstar has not said how it works or whether it launches day one. What we know is collected on our GTA 6 Online guide.
4. The exact unlock time. Most digital releases go live at local midnight, so that is the expectation, but Rockstar has not confirmed the unlock schedule. See what time GTA 6 comes out.
5. The special editions. Beyond the standard release, the contents and prices of any Deluxe or Collector edition are unconfirmed. The expected lineup is on our editions guide. Expect most of these gaps to close on June 25.
