GTA 6: everything we know so far

Here is the short version. Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X and S, with pre-orders opening June 25. It is set in Vice City and the state of Leonida, a modern take on Florida, and stars two playable protagonists, Lucia and Jason.

The map is reported to be significantly larger than GTA 5, centered on Vice City with surrounding regions. A new GTA Online is expected, though Rockstar has not confirmed whether it ships day one or shortly after.

Pricing, editions, the full feature set, and PC plans are still to be confirmed. Most of those gaps are expected to close around the June 25 pre-order launch. We keep this page current as each detail is verified.
