Best TV for GTA 6

Rockstar has not announced GTA 6 resolution or frame-rate modes. Buy a TV for your console library, room and budget, not for a promised GTA 6 mode. These picks offer 4K, 120Hz, VRR and low input lag as display capabilities.

What matters in a console TV: image quality, low input lag in Game Mode, the number of HDMI ports you need, and support for the signal formats used by the rest of your game library. Prices move often, so check the live price before you buy.

How to choose

Start with your room and the games you already play. OLED panels such as the LG G6 and LG B6 offer deep black levels and strong contrast. If you want more brightness for less money, a Mini-LED set such as the TCL QM8L is the alternative. TCL lists four HDMI 2.1 inputs on the QM8L, so it is also the more flexible current pick when several high-bandwidth devices share the room.

Match the TV to the outputs your console supports. The PS5 family and Xbox Series consolescan use features such as 4K, high refresh rates and VRR in compatible software, but that does not establish a GTA 6 mode. Rockstar has not published the game’s output details. See our system requirements guide for why no PC performance claim is possible unless Rockstar announces a PC edition and specifications.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best TV for GTA 6?

Choose a TV that fits your room, budget and console. The current LG G6 is our flagship OLED pick, the LG B6 is the lower-cost OLED, and the TCL QM8L is the bright-room Mini-LED option. Their panel, refresh-rate, VRR and HDMI features describe the displays, not an announced GTA 6 output mode.

Do I need a 120Hz TV for GTA 6?

No GTA 6 TV requirement has been announced. A 120Hz TV with VRR is useful across console games that support those features, but Rockstar has not published GTA 6 resolution or frame-rate modes. Do not upgrade for a promised mode that does not exist yet.

Is OLED worth it for GTA 6?

OLED is a picture-quality preference, not a GTA 6 requirement. It offers strong contrast for all compatible console content, while Mini-LED can provide more brightness for less money. Rockstar has not announced GTA 6 HDR or display modes.

What HDMI connection supports 4K at 120Hz on a console?

HDMI 2.1 can carry a 4K 120Hz signal with VRR and ALLM when the console, game and display all support it. That is a hardware capability, not confirmation that GTA 6 will output at 4K and 120Hz.
